At Missing Millions, our vision is to create a fair chance of dignified and thriving living life for out of school adolescents - socially, emotionally and economically.
Our flagship program - The Thrive Fellowship focuses on creating an intersection between skill, will and opportunity for vulnerable adolescents out of the formal education system over the span of 2 years.
About 30% of all school going students have now become invisible to the system. “Invisible” to the system.
Where are they, if not in schools?
Are they safe from physical and social exploitation?
What will it take to make them visible to the mainstream system again?
They are neither in schools nor in alternate learning environments. The complexity of reasons intensify with progressing age groups.
With limitations of the Right to Education Act and availability of day jobs, adolescents between the ages of 14-17 years stand at high risk of exploitation and being permanently disembarked from a life of opportunities to grow.
If not schools, what other trajectories can they explore to become self-reliant and active citizens of the nation?
Our Model is designed to act as a bridge between potential employers and talent pool.
We provide a learning environment that integrates core professional skills with Social Emotional Learning and 21st century capabilities through the Thrive Fellowship program.
